  • Payment details only if transacting in-app (processed by compliant partners)

Providers

  • Optional credential uploads (licenses, insurance, certifications)
  • Payout identity details only if receiving in-app payouts
  • Risk telemetry (hashed IP, VPN/proxy risk, bot detection score, duplicate account indicators, payout velocity, referral history)

Automatically Collected

  • Session behavior, device, OS, browser
  • IP addresses hashed immediately and stored only for fraud/VPN/dupe detection
  • Listing interactions, compliance holds, moderation logs, referral reward issuance, and payout events

Sensitive Data

We do not collect or validate immigration status, citizenship, race, religion, health, or criminal background. The Platform is not an immigration authority — it enables lawful commerce only.

2. How We Use Data

Data is used to:

  • Enable marketplace matching
  • Issue optional verification badges based on uploaded credentials
  • Maintain payout compliance (identity + sanctions + AML + velocity limits)
  • Prevent fraud and abuse
  • Retain moderation and enforcement logs for audit and legal defense optics
  • Respond to compelled legal requests (subpoenas, warrants, regulatory inquiries)

3. Data We Do NOT Sell

The Company does not sell, resell, lease, monetize, or commercially distribute user data. Data is never shared with third parties for advertising or profiling.

4. Data Retention

  • Account profile data is retained until the user requests deletion
  • Risk, moderation, and payout compliance logs may be retained indefinitely for audit optics and legal defense
  • IP hashes are stored for fraud and bot detection only, not for location profiling

5. Data Access & Deletion

Users may request data export or account deletion by contacting contact@samba.social. The Company may retain immutable audit logs even after account deletion for compliance and legal purposes.

6. Security

Data is protected by encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest where applicable. The Company implements access controls, fraud detection, and monitoring to protect data integrity.

7. Third-Party Services

The Platform may integrate third-party services for:

  • Payment processing (subject to those providers' terms)
  • Identity verification and sanctions screening
  • Analytics (aggregated and anonymized)

The Company does not share identifiable data with third parties for advertising.

8. Legal Disclosure

The Company may disclose data when legally compelled by valid subpoena, law enforcement request, or regulatory inquiry. Data is never shared voluntarily for immigration enforcement targeting.
